My forum is not in the latest version so that sometimes gives MySQL errors.

The board NOT being the latest version is NOT the reason you are getting MySQL errors. Updating a board with errors could increase the errors.

Please use the Support Request Template and post it here so that we can try to identify the source of the error(s) and propose a fix BEFORE the update is started.
