I see. Can you tell me how user can acquire to my newly created group, instead of 'newly registered users' ?
Whatever changes I make to 'Zero day user' group, it goes to 'newly registered users' group too or maybe 'newly registered users' override any permission set under 'Zero day user'.
Thank you.
Leave the NRU as it was, new users will be member of that group and the default permissions of the NRU will allow posting but requiring approval.
You need to install the Autogroup extension in order to automatically make a member posting his first post, become member of the Zero day user group
Once a user is member of that group, he won't be able to post anymore (if you set the group/forum permissions correctly)
When that first post is approved, remove the member from the Zero day user group so that the NRU permissions allow that user to post (requiring approval).

But... seeing your reply, you're new to phpBB and probably have no experience with extensions and the permission system, so it's probably not the right time to try that now.
